Catherine Woskow’s art is a process of continual discovery, drawn from her inner world. In her "Head Series," Woskow explores the complex interplay between the head and body, creating multi-dimensional figures that reflect internal struggles and contradictions. These pieces are built from layers of thick acrylics and glazes, with subtle graphite lines that reveal glimpses of hidden forms beneath the surface.
In contrast, her "Vertical Series" represents a more peaceful exploration, driven by trust and intuitive expression. This series influenced the Heads, teaching Woskow to embrace raw boldness while balancing intellect with emotion. As she continues to push boundaries and deepen her artistic exploration, Woskow seeks to capture the dynamic, ever-changing nature of identity through her work.
