Anna Jaap received her BFA Magna Cum Laude from Lipscomb University in 1987 with

an emphasis in classical painting and French. For twenty-five years, she has maintained a

continuously working studio—establishing herself first as a printmaker before shifting

her focus to painting and drawing. Today, Jaap combines these disciplines in articulate

mixed media pieces informed by a deep love of nature and belief in the power of

meaningful connection:

"I am inspired by the rhythms and forms that repeat throughout the natural

world. We are not separate from the trees, the land, the rivers and seas. In the beautiful

structure of our being, we are connected."

Jaap lives and works in Nashville, TN. Her work has been exhibited in museums and in

galleries across the United States, and is included in collections worldwide.
